The short version
V1 does not require an account. Assessment answers and personalized results are stored in localStorage in the browser profile you are using. The current product has no advertising, email capture, hosted result URL, or third-party analytics.
Data stored on your device
- age-eligibility confirmation;
- current chapter and question;
- answers, deliberate skips, Focus Mode preference, and timestamps;
- completed scale results, previews, narrative callbacks, versions, and result reference.
This information stays in this browser unless you deliberately copy, print, or download your result. Clearing site data, using the product in private-browsing mode, or switching devices may remove or make the journey unavailable.
What leaves the browser
In the current V1 implementation, no assessment answer, score, band, archetype, result hash, or narrative choice is sent to an Inner Paths server. Ordinary hosting infrastructure may process basic request data such as IP address, requested path, user agent, and security logs when the static files are delivered. Production retention and subprocessors will be documented after the Cloudflare account and legal operator are finalized.
Your controls
You can leave and resume, download a result-only JSON file, print or save a PDF, copy a plain-text summary, or permanently delete the journey from this browser. A shared browser profile is not a secure private vault; use the deletion control if other people can access it.
Analytics boundary
Analytics is disabled. If privacy-safe aggregate analytics is introduced, it will require a reviewed event allowlist. Answers, scores, bands, archetypes, response text, result hashes, and stable visitor identifiers are prohibited analytics fields.
Minors and research
The journey is intended for adults age 18 and older. Product operation is separate from research participation. Any future research would require a separate consent process and data-governance review.
